Q: What do you think about a Ford Fusion?
Hey there,

I’m turning 16 in a couple of months and my aunt has agreed to buy me a new car. My parents will spend up to $10k on me, but my aunt wants me to have a new car. I’m considering the Fusion, Milan, Lancer, Avenger, etc.
I’ve built all online but the Fusion is my favorite. If I were to get a Fusion, it would be loaded with everything (including a V6) except the navigation system. So yes, SEL V6 w/ leather (blue suede?) is what I’m considering.

Before you respond saying how spoiled I am, please keep in mind that I’m a straight A student and I’m not asking for a mustang or BMW. I want something reliable and sense-able!

The car retails for a little over $25k, but what do you think I could get it for (aunts a lawyer = negotiation!)

A: I have a 2006 Fusion V6 SE..got it brand new. I love it. I have 2 kids so a 4 door car is what I was looking for but most 4 door cars look like granny cars…I’m only 24, I wanted a sporty looking car! I love how the Fusion looks! It now has 34,000 miles on it and it still runs like brand new. The only thing I didn’t like was the tires it came with..Continentals..they sucked. They liked to hydroplane in the puddles. But I replaced them this spring with Firestone Firehawks Wide Ovals and they are awsome..don’t hydroplane at all. I would recommend a Fusion 100%=)

Q: Honda Accord EX vs Scion tC?
I have the oppertunity to purchase a new car for a daily driver. I am torn between the Honda Accord Ex and the Scion tC. I like the tC because of its sporty looks and because it is very easy to customize. I like the Accord because its sporty but also a little more luxurious. I just graduated high school and have been driving for about 3-4 years. I will be buying either car in automatic because of where I live (Chicago). Which car is better overall (stats about each car)? Don’t worry about insurace rates, it doesn’t matter to me.

Like, if you live in the UK, what are some basic facts or steyrotypes of different cities? Like I can tell you that New York is full of rude people, its overcrowded, and is a huge tourist site, and chicago is where car making factories are and its doing badly economically right now, new orleans is mostly black and some people speak french there, is the home of jazz and is known for mardi grass.

Q: What is the best website to post a new webcomic for an amatuer?
eugh, third time I’ve had to ask this question. I’ve decided to work on my own webcomic about an alien scout ship that visits Earth and abducts an American civilian. This civilian is about 200km outside of Denver, Colorado, driving home from a business trip in Chicago. His car, which he thinks has broken down, has actually been hit with an EMP from the scout ship. The man gets out of his car and opens the hood, then the scout ship appears, and then he is taken aboard.

So is there a website where I could post this comic as I work on it? I’m already going to post it on my Facebook account, but I wan’t to post it on another website where it will really gain popularity, but I want to be able to join the website and post the webcomic for free, meaning I don’t want to have to pay any money.

Q: why do mexicans transport mattresses on their car?
when ever im on the road in the chicago area and i see a mattress on a car it is almost always a mexican family. i usually see at least 3 or 4 cars a day with this strange sight. it could ba a crappy car or a nice new lexus . what is the deal with this?
im not trying to be racist ,im just curious why they always have mettresses on the car. its not the savings because a lot of nice cars have these mattresses in them, sure i see whites and blacks once in a while with a mattress but 95 percent of the time its mexican folks.

I’m not Mexican but I like to throw the mattress on top of a vehicle or in an open truck when moving. It airs them out well, especially those mattresses that are used as fart mufflers.

Q: How do I get a home loan after bankruptcy?
I live in the western suburbs of Chicago. I am hoping to put down as much as possible (upwards of 20K) on a townhouse or condo. My bankruptcy was discharged in July of 2005. I want to buy next summer (June/July). I have no credit problems since, but I share a 400 per month student loan with my ex and my current boyfriend is making payments on a car that is in my name. I will have no other debt, besides student loans (the old $400 one and a new $100 one) and the $300 car payment. This looks like a lot of debt, but I’m only paying $300 of it. What should I do to qualify for a decent home? Should I make my boyfriend pay off the car faster? The stupid student loan place will not separate our consolidated loan either. So it looks like I have $800 in debt that I pay when I only pay $300! I will be starting a second career as a paralegal, so I’ll only have about 6 mos. in a new job. Are there any lenders or agents on this who have any ideas?
